Are you a smoker? If so, you know that the costs of tobacco products are outrageous! Cigarette companies realise that even if they jack up the prices of cigarettes, the smokers will still by them. Why is this? It's pretty simple. A smoker typically developes a preference of a brand of cigarette and in turn an a addiction to a certain brand. This creates somewhat of a monopoly for the smoker, and we usually end up paying an arm & a leg for cigarettes! Think about how many times per day or week you buy cigarettes, at about $4.00/pack that adds up! This is ridiculous that smokers have to pay this amount for cigarettes, especially with gas prices being as horrendous as they are!
