Blackjack is a game of pure statistics and skill. In the long run, there is a bit of luck baked into it as well, but for more or less, it is all about using the statistics. The problem is that one has to remove the idea about getting as close to 21 as possible. You cant win them all, you have to lose sometimes, and by losing, you can straighten out the odds a little.
* Always stand on 12 or 13 if dealer has 12 or 13.
* Always split aces.
* Never use insurance (you will gain from it in the long run)
* Hit 14, 15, 16 if dealer has a face card shown.
* 'Feed' the dealer with face cards when he has a big chance of busting.
* Always split Nines
