Myticism is basically that all manner of things are done to please God. These can be anything from saying a special prayer or prayers, to performing a specific act to please God. To me, this makes no sense, as the only way to please Him is to respect His creations.
Man is the only creation who has the ability to realize that there is something beyond physical life in nature. The responsibilty for this rests with him. It isn`t up to God to earn our grace, but for us to earn His Grace. God has given us many gifts to accomplish it.
Conscience is the most important of God`s Gifts, for a man without a conscience is a man without a soul. A man who follows his conscience is a man who`ll find his salvation. The laws of the land have no importance to a man without a conscience, and a law made by a man without a conscience has no betterment of mankind.
Laws should be designed for the betterment of mankind, with allowing a respect for individual rights. All we have is ourselves to help. To waste the gift of conscience shows no respect for God. Paradise will be earned, not given.
A billion acts, places, people can be deemed holy, but if God`s word doesn`t exist in your heart, it makes no difference. God given us the chance to live in His Light, if we fail to do so we only have ourselves to blame.
We must come to the realization that we, mankind, are one of God`s creations, and by respecting each other we are doing the Will of God. No matter what faith you subscribe to, you`re the only one who can take the step to God`s Will.
At present I`m on disabilty pension for my paranoid schizophrenia and get by. I do some charitable work. Play bridge and pool. Write poetry and fiction. Born in Montreal and spent some time in the Maritimes. Travelled a bit in the States and Europe.
